March-April Newsletter
Grade 3
St.Luke School
Dear Parents,
It is hard to believe that the March break is almost here! Time has gone by so quickly. The children have been very busy working on special projects (Pioneers) and they are presently creating and illustrating a Superhero and writing a story using describing words (adjectives). The children will be presenting their project to the class. It is great to see the enthusiasm, creativity, and interest they generate while doing this project.
After the March break, “Spring” will finally be here bringing all the joy and happiness of the new season. We will discuss and share about a very important time of the year: “Easter”.
We will continue to develop the skills in asking questions using “question words” orally and in written work. In writing, we will learn to write short paragraph in developing and following the proper language structures ( Au début, après, ensuite, finalement). We will also learn to write the negative form in sentences.
“Question words”:
Please read and practice with your child.
1. Quel est ton nom? Mon nom est…
2. Qui aime jouer dehors?
3. Pourquoi es-tu heureux/heureuse ?
Please, read and review with your child.
